AE4EU @TerraMadre2022 in Torino, Italy

September 22, 2022

During Terra Madre 2022 our project partner UNISG is busy sharing the outcomes of AE4EU on-site in Torino, Italy.

Many other events are taking place on-site in Torino and online. Don’t miss out on this wonderful event and have a look at the program.

Agroecology for a better future, 22.09.2022, 13:30 (local time)

What does agroecology mean? How can agroecology help the transformation toward more sustainable agriculture and food systems?

The UNISG research group will give answers. They are involved in the European project H2020 AE4EU – Agroecology for Europe, which aims to strengthen the development and networks of actors involved in the transition to agroecology and food sovereignty.

Mapping agroecology in Italy, 25.09.2022, 11:00 (local time)

The European project AE4EU, together with the Fondazione CARIPLO project OPERA19, has made it possible to carry out the first mapping of agroecological initiatives in Italy.

The young Italian team, interviewing key players from the worlds of agriculture and academia to social movements, produced a report showing for the first time an overview of the development and status of agroecology in Italy according to five pillars: Education and Training, Living Lab, Practices, Science and Movements.
